I had my stage 2 in Watford on Friday the 13th (tell me about it!).
Took 7 days to get my results back and am consequently heading up to Leeds for the managers interview tomorrow morning (25th).
I'm surprised how long some of you have had to wait.... Hope it's not much longer for you all and it's a positive result.

Marky, well done on getting this far.

Good luck tomorrow, hope it all goes well.

Anybody get any news in the post today ? Nothing from my postman, only bills !!

I am calling again this afternoon after I finish work (early shift). I called on Tuesday and they said the lady dealing with us was in office Thursday afternoon.

I will let you all know if I have post................

The more I wait the more I don't think I got through!!!

Has anybody else received a call from freightliner this afternoon about stage 3?

They said I have passed stage 2(which I had already been told), that there aren't any dates for stage 3 yet and I will receive a letter when there is. I am wondering if the guys that went up this week have filled the vacancies and what's left will be in a holding pool.

Choochoochoo regrets to announce this journey will terminate at stage 2. The next service will be along in 6 months.

Well done to those of you who made it through.

Gutted is too light a word. Time to pick myself up and make sure I don't fail next time.

Bad news chooch. At least you can use the experience to make sure you get there next time.
Did they phone you with the bad news ? I think I'll be in the same boat, having not heard yet after my stage 2 on the 12th.

Yeah, got the phone call today.

I'll call OPC for feedback on Monday, as I'm working tomorrow.

On a side note, does anyone know whether the 'life' resets that we are getting because there is new testing being introduced also means that I might be able to apply for positions doing the new tests without having to wait 6 months.

Hope those of you who got through and are waiting for a interview date, don't have to wait in a hold pool for too long.

Congrats guys I'm guessing the positions are all filled now. What was the interview like? Do you have any key information that I can use for when I have mine?

I also got the dreaded call that I had failed stage 2, The reasons I didn't have enough experience in dealing with an emergency. My first example was the launching of the ships lifeboat to pull a dead body out from the water and organising a medical team to meet us a shore I have dealt with this a lot. My second with a fire on-board (I work as a merchant seamen) Deck mate and a car had set the deck alight. We had to work quickly to put it out and even primed the drencher system if it went further etc etc. How is this not enough experience?. Can I appeal or is that a life lost?

Any positive feedback appreciated I don't expect to go to stage 3 just wanna keep that life I reckon they did me out of.
