Looks like peripheral vision test that looks very difficult.

I am very poor at "peripheral vision" tests having taken this sort of test before. Theres not a sodding chance I would pass the new tests.

The fact is that a peripheral vision test also cannot really be practiced in an effective way like Group Boredom, Reactions, DTG, etc. where an almost exact replica of the real thing had been built.

I'm glad I passed the tests and got on the footplate 4 years ago and that I'll never have to do these new ones.

My advice to anyone who has not passed the tests yet is to get them passed now while they are relatively easy. Unless I'm mistaken a pass on the old tests will still valid with most TOC's for 5 years.

Hi spencer, I have a thread on here about the training course in Nottingham starting 20th May. Will be nice to get to put names and faces together. Will you be commuting or staying in a hotel? Im going to be put up in a hotel due to how far I would have to travel.

Im travelling from cardiff its about a 3 hour commute each way, would have to leave here around 5am every morning and wouldnt get back til around 9 each night. And even though we wont be safety critical, I guess it helps get back into the habit of hidden 18 and all that! So far im staying all alone! Going to be lonely being so far away, but luckily have family in nottingham and the midlands. Ill be coming up by train so llanishen to cardiff, cardiff to bristol, bristol to new street, new street over on a sunday, coming back friday is direct to cardiff then just cardiff central to llanishen. Or I may bus it from cardiff straight home. Will ser
