Trainee driver southeastern wage

Hi all , can anyone tell me what the pay is as a trainee driver for southeastern is please?? And does the pay rise during training?? And if so to what does it rise to ??? Thanks in advance

Approx 31/32 training. Doesn’t rise until qualified then onto 55

Its 41k first year qualified 54k thereafter

Whilst your training its around 28k in the school rising to around 33 whilst with your instructor. When you pass out you go up to 44k for the first year before going up to 54k starting the 2nd year of being qualified.

Actually yes as @NotMattch said it's £44k for the year not £41k

They are well aware that the salary is low. In the interview they asked me if I know what the salary is and that they know a lot of people are leaving them and are aware that it's to go to other TOCs for the higher pay, so they introduced £6k fees if you do leave. They was looking for 6 trainees to start at the metro depot within 1.5 months.

The fees haven't been "introduced". The fees have been there for years.

I know. Majority of others also charge fees (albeit not as much)

Never been enforced and never will be.
They tried it years ago and it went to court and got thrown out.
Its just to try and deter people from doing it.
If its your first railway job then you'll know no better anyway, won't find people joining from within the railway unless its for location and let's be fair if you live on the Kent coast what else have you got to choose from?
