Sorry to be thick but what is the difference between the DM interview and the structured? I know there are more tests to come which apparently are stage 3 but is stage 3 a further conventional interview in addition to the tests? So in effect are there 2 "proper"interviews where you get grilled?
The DM interview asks questions that are relevant to the role focussing on health and safety, why you want to work for the company etc. The 3rd part if you are successful is more assessments, the bits from page 40 onwards focussing on alertness, observation and two hand co-ordination. The interview at stage 3 is structured as in it is based on the same questions but you give a top line that you then build on during the interview. The questions you are asked are based on your answers and on the answers you gave earlier to a series of questions. Each interview in that way is specifically tailored to each candidate and can be very intense a lot of why, how did that make you feel, what could you have done differently? Kind of questions, I can guarantee no two people will have the same structured interview whereas the DMI interview you all have the same questions to answer. BB3 is right you need a whole day off for the 3rd stage.

can anyone who has recently had the driver manager's interview give any examples of questions you were asked? Trying to prepare as much as I can, but never had an interview like this before and really don't know what to expect.
