When were you contacted with the details of the assessment day?

It was mentioned in the original email advising those successful candidates that they'd got the first lot of assessments.

Hi guys! So I've just got the email to invite me to do some physcometric tests on Monday for this position and if passed an assessment day soon after. Does anyone know what is involved with these tests and assessment days for this role? Thanks in advance!

I've not applied for a TM role with EMT but I have been for an interview for an RPO role with them. Revenue Protection will be one of your key duties. I was asked to complete a written practical test, based on a scenario where a passenger leaves a train ticketless and I ask to check their ticket on exit of the platform, they say they left it on the train, I give them the opportunity to retreive said ticket but they refuse to, then I had to write what I would do. So, I wrote about remaining calm but firm, picking up on incriminating facts in my interview under caution i.e. that they said they were travelling back in the opposite direction, yet only bought a Single ticket.

You'll also be asked a series of questions in the formal interview, such as when have you been in a challenging situation. Try to think of an example that is concise and one that demomstrates your suitability for the role. Safety awareness is something they will want from a TM too, so it may show some initiative if you read up on customer safety notices i.e. in case of emergency, fire extinguisher locations etc. I'm sure other members can advise you further on the safety aspects of the role though.
