They are not as anonymous as you think. Anyone who personally knows a poster well is likely to be able to identify them for their posts.
I'm not too sure about that, for instance my names "Tim" and I was born in 1996, but if I used the username "Peter1984" people would assume I was called Peter and born in 1984.
Also, anyone who knows me well will know that I never like to use text speak, or bad spelling punctuation in an open forum, so I'd only need to add a dab of bad English to help disguise my true identity.
If a post in such a thread is a users first it certainly does add a degree of suspicion, so if the user posted a few times in other parts of the forum that would help too.
