And why not ask Scotrail to takeover the Edinburgh-Newcastle stoppng trains, since they are likely to remain operationally disconnected from TPE further south for some time. Or ask XC to add a few more stops in for Scottish stations and have a reduced turnround at Waverley?
The document is certainly encouraging and suggests that someone, somewhere has finally thought through the whole customer proposition for TPE is the post-Covid, post-RDW and pre-TRU period -- which was desperately needed. But, as with many previous such initiatives, the risk is that management begin to believe their own hype. Provided that they get out and about and see where reality is not matching dewey-eyed expectations, and take action to sort (not just hide behind 'this is a long term plan' waffle) this might actually work!
Btw, the idea of a perpetual Christmas tree at Paragon sounds interesting. Will it come with perpetual snow?!!!
