No, there are tables there!
They might have found some extraMy 170 in November was most certainly ex-Desiro seats.
Didn't some (or all?) units come to TPE without first class? I can't remember their previous TOC...

TPE was given SWT's small fleet of 170s which already had a first class section. I've no idea why when refurbished ex-desiro seats were installed, given that SWT's Desiro fleet haven't been refurbished yet.
Presumably that's what they had on hand at TPE. Chapman have gone bust aswell have they not? That might make things tricky? There is one other 170309 is actually from Central Trains, and was previously a 'spot hire' unit - so either way it had a first class section (albeit permanently declassified).TPE was given SWT's small fleet of 170s which already had a first class section. They also got 309 (399) from CT in spot-hire/Central ((( ))) livery which had FC in both ends and SWT 170 seats
TPE got the 170s from SWT with two first class sections. The area the OP has put a pen around on the diagram, together with the luggage rack and seat 65 formed the second First Class area. TPE realised that the 170s did not have enough standard class seats, so redid one FC area with new standard class seats, the new seats being the same type as on the 185s (less comfortable than the rest of the 170 standard class seats which just got new seat covers)
But I don't know what TPE did with the SWT 1st class seats that they removed.
AFAIK the seats in the converted standard class end have always been the same as the rest of standard class since refurbishment.
