Does anyone know what the class 345 is at Crewe? A little way to the South of the station, on the Up side.
It was dark this morning when I went past and the same this evening.
Thanks.

No - this isn't (currently) a 92 working - hasn't been for a long time. Would need a diesel shunter back at Trafford Park for starters... 66733 is on it today. There's a 92 on 6L48 though... (92028) http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/H22125/2017/10/20/advanced

The only regular (GBRf) Class 92 freight workings on Network Rail metals at the moment are:
Dagenham/Garston Ford car flow: 6X41/6L48 - daily except Saturday night/Sun morning
Wembley (ex-Dollands Moor)-Irvine Caledonian Paper china clay "silver bullet" tanks: 6S94 - Wednesday only (empties return overnight Thur/Fri)
Thankyou very much you have been a very great help , best wishes
Will .

It says locomotive so can you say what it is please

It said "locomotive" this morning too (see link below). The RTT info about what type of train it is (which comes from the Network Rail data feeds) is just the info used for the "timing load" so the system knows the parameters of the train (max speed, acceleration etc) - it doesn't necessarily mean that's what it is.

One of many examples are the London-Birmingham Chiltern services which all show as "Class 158 DMU" - several are Class 68 loco-hauled though.

Quite often electric locos show as diesels etc. There's also a glitch with VSTPs which make some show up with a strange max speed (168mph is a common one I think...)

Track machines typically show up as "diesel locos trailing 715 tonnes" even though they're often nowhere near 715 tonnes - that's just what the system uses for them... there are many more examples (including the MPV this morning)...

In short, the Operational Info can be useful, but is by no means an exact description of what the train is/will be or what it really is hauling/made up of!

Could anyone kindly provide any GWR HST powercar pairings where there's any possibility that these sets may have been viewable between Paddington and Tilehurst yesterday, Saturday 21st October 2017 between 09:10 & 19:40?

I'm particularly interested in the other power car with 43063 working 1A11 0933 Bristol Temple Meads to London Paddington (Saturday 21st October 2017). Thanks in advance.
