The caption for image 2 in that gallery is incorrect...it is not a Reliant Robin but a Reliant Rialto, the model which superceeded the Robin.

Agreed, the other two calm him down a bit. I just don't like his anti everything but a car attitude. Funny thing is I have a mate who was born & bred & still lives in the next village to where Clarkson is from. He is exactly the same(although does like trains(He's a signalman on the ECML)),must be the coal dust in the air.

Can't say I'm personally upset as I enjoy the show for what it is anyway - a decent motoring programme.

I have asked my pal who works in the TG office and who got me those rare tickets last year..I was actually on TV twice for a few seconds. However as you can imagine the producers deliberately pose the loveliest dolly birds where they might be seen on camera behind the team members. If you're ugly you get pushed out!

This was posted on WessexRail

Watch this Sunday’s (4 February) Top Gear to see what happens when a train
hits a family car on a level crossing (8pm, BBC2).
We helped the programme set up the stunt last August to graphically show
motorists the consequences of level crossing misuse, supporting our ‘Level
crossings: don’t run the risk’ public information campaign.
In the staged crash – which our teams helped to organise and supervise – a
people carrier is parked on a level crossing in rural Lincolnshire. An
unmanned locomotive set off by remote control hurtles towards the car at speeds
approaching 70mph. You won’t want to miss the impact and what happens to the
car. Even Jeremy Clarkson was shocked.

everyone likes the hamster! As for James May, when I found the following film I respected him even more (I'm a Dublo collector by the way, many collectors would be horrified by his actions and immediately fall over dead, but not me!)

Looks like BBC arn't showing the L/C crash, at least for the forseeable future, due to this weeks L/C accident up in Invergordon in Scotland.

One would hope the public don't need reminding about the dangers of level crossings just at the moment.

Surely that's all the more reason too! Get it stuck into people's heads about the dangers.

And if they can't show the crash then they can't show the program, some how I doubt they're going to want to edit out the clip and shuffle it around by replacing it with others.
