Not the right place I accept, but following an update to the talktalk app, the "mark all read" tick has now disappeared from this forum - it's still available on other forums, could the admin team look into the problem please.

Thanks

Also, being able to report posts from inside tapatalk has disappeared too!

A few months ago I queried why the Windows Phone 8 Tapatalk app didn't work properly with the site. The site support team replied that Tapatalk is not supported due to various issues with security and advertising (removal of authorised and insertion of unauthorised ads) and a mobile version of the website is provided as an alternative

I use Tapatalk on my Android phone and tablet and it's fine. I find it much easier to scroll through an ever expanding list of posts than to have to load new pages every so many posts.

You can still mark all as read by going to the Browse menu, then tapping the settings.

What adverts? I've been using Tapatalk on my first gen Galaxy Tab for a few years now and see no adverts at all.

If it isn't supported and admin would prefer us to use the mobile version; then why hasn't Tapatalk integration been removed?

Indeed, I wonder the same things myself. I use the third party app Board Express Pro on WP8, which works fine and I don't see any adverts either. Unfortunately it's been delisted from the Windows Store so not available if I ever have to reset my phone (Lumia 920).

I was simply relaying the answer I got from the forum staff :)

I have a Lumia with WP8.1, and while Tapatalk still has numerous bugs I have found most major ones can be resolved by logging out and signing in with a new Tapatalk account. I can only assume the newer version is not compatible with the older data.

First new post view does not work for me on this forum but setting it to newest post seems to work alright.

Oh dear, I always thought that Tapatalk was something that Fred Astaire invented...

Mind you, I did take inspiration from postings on this website that always seem to end with the Tapatalk statement, as the basis for one of my two forum signatures..:D

If Tapatalk, which I use a lot (using it now in fact) is to continue being supported, can the mods perhaps update the plug in on this forum? It adds loads of features, including better support for attachments, quoting and being able to view new threads. Advert issues aside (to be honest, I'd pay a donation if given the option), Tapatalk really does improve forum engagement as it makes any forum more accessible anywhere.

Hi

I used to have a tick inthe top bar of Tapatalk when I looked at the 'unread' grouping.

Selecting this marked all the posts as read. I still have this in the other forum I use Tapatalk for, but not in RailUK.

Any deas why?

Hello!

Just to reassure you it's something the forum team are looking into. I'll keep this thread updated with any progress. I am currently investigating the option of updating the plugin on our end to the latest version, which should make the app's features work fully again. :)

That's good to hear - I use a third party app that uses the Tapatalk API and it's only been half working with this forum.

Me too. But only on my iPad. I need to click back several times to return to the previous page.
Goes with 1 click on IE on laptop

This has been going on for a while now; I'm sure we had a thread about it recently but I can't find it now - it seems to be an intermittent problem.
