What annoys you? I know there probably was a thread of this, but I thought it might be better to start a new one :)

One from me:

When people think that if other franchise (XC) ran a certain route (Liverpool - norwich) that they would use different stock (Voyagers)

Anyway, your turn :)

people trying to force their way on to a train when passengers are still allighting.

and the way that were not "passengers" anymore but "customers"

The view that if Wrexham & Shropshire ran all the TOC's that they would all be as good as Wrexham.

That we have Train Managers rather than Guards.

 You shouldn't worry. Just had a MSN conversation with someone who's just fallen for it hook, line, sinker, fishing net + the works !

Seriously though, there is a certain photographer out there he does seem to attract chaos and disruption where ever he goes, and I have been caught up in said disruption a few times.

People who can't take responsibility for their own safety, be it working or travelling on the railways, and who blame others for their own stupidity.

The prey of no win-no fee lawyers that exists nowadays to back up the above people.

hate - Celtic FC

Quality! There's not a team like Glasgow Rangers, no not one........................... etc etc. I don't really get annoyed, more irritated , just things like middle class people thinking they're upper class, bad manners, misplacing items, girlfriend moaning, nothing really exciting.:)

People who sit opposite or next to you on an empty (or fairly empty) train, for no particular reason!

The worst culprits for this were the BBC, who when Virgin lost the XC franchise to Arriva, showed lots of footage giving the impression that Arriva would be bringing their pacers over from Wales!

What annoys me right now? That lying ******* Qamar Khaliq.

Personal stereos where I can name the tune when the person is sat the other end of the coach.

Unless its Led Zepp, Iron Maiden, The Who or The Eagles, in which case this type of behavior is actively encouraged :D

That annoys me so much

People aren't really that stupid are they? Rolling stock isn't my stuff, but I know that would never happen. WSMR are so good because their network, is neat, tidy, and limited service, because of this, there on-board and customer service is exemplary :D

People have said it mate, like the other day someone said XC should run Liverpool - Norwich because they would use voyagers! Yes, because they have loads of voyagers, and if they did you would just get more overcrowded trains because 1 more would be out of service for repaints!

**

The DfT. Can they not do something so XC has to use all of its HSTs even if that means XC or the DfT having to pay for the bogie checks or whatever

I dont have a problem with my grade changing from a Operational position to a Management position, but what i am concerned about is if you want me to be a Manager i want a REAL Managers salary and not my Guards salary, otherwise i will stay as i am thank you very much.

However getting back to subject what i hate is the constant name changing of jobs in this country to me a dustman is a dustman, a bus driver is a bus driver, a road sweeper is a road sweeper, a ticket inspector is a ticket inspector a Guard is a Guard get my drift.

What you said in your second paragraph is what I meant, not an actual change of job, just a change of name of the same job.

You live in the land of roundabouts and concrete cows so that probably explains it :D
