Could be on the line to Trawsfynydd - not sure there's enough mountains and slate in the background though!

Getting warm!! Ill give a wee clue. The Mk4's didn't stay in intercity for very long after this was taken.

Hmmmm.....The plot thickens.!!!!

So why would a set of mk4's be dragged somewhere near Edinburgh? The amount of refuse on the line indicates it is not a passenger line and the response from your good self indicates that I am somewhere in the area so therefore I suggest 'Mornington Crescent' !!!!

Sorry, that is impossible as I forgot about the King Albert the 5th Rule.

This wasn't on the Leith line was it?

That must be right! I knew the photo looked familiar - I've seen a very similar shot of a Rosyth working in a magazine years ago!

Somewhere near Dunfermline?
Getting very warm!
Then I'll take a punt on the chord between Rosyth and Dalgetty Bay. (The chord that would make the Fife Circle truly a circle).

The hills in the background fit, the warehouse is about right, and although I don't remember the cutting through that rocky outcrop on the trackside, its similar to some of the rock formations in that area.

Woohoo!

I don't have a huge number of rail photos myself, certainly none interesting enough to use in a quiz like this. Anybody else want to have a go please carry on.

I shall take you up on said offer.

Here is a class 60 on a steel train in 2009. It's from a UWC so you might not be able to get the exact location but the area will do <D

Correct! The location is Spencer's LC on the 'down' side of Fullicar Lane bridge and a short distance from Long Lane ABX

I thought that it looked familiar :D

Seeing as I have precisley zero rail related photos on my harddrive I invite anyone to put something up to carry on this thread!
