we wernt sure what to do with ourself today but whilst putting the free paper wev been reading on the bus back in the0rack we spot a train tiket0lying just beside it. a quick glance shows its the return portion of an anytime return from DBY to aberdeen.

Concerned this may belong to somebody we ask the people at the bus stand, remaining passengers onboard and even at the station tiket office to see if its been reported missing
but no it hasnt. at that moment the platform for the 13:44 XC voyager is announced and adopting the spirit of finders keepers we make our way to the advertised platform. Its only then we note the tiket is infact a First anytime, so, thinking Xmas has come again we board and take our seat for the 6h 59 trip, ariving in the granit city at 20:43 on Sat evening

We then decide to grab a coffee and then head for lunch in the lovely town of Basildon. So we board First Essex's route 100, which leaves stand 5 at Chelmsford Bus Station at 1330 and arrives at Basildon Bus Station (stand D) at 1424 on Monday afternoon.

The excellent timing and disembarkation point of the service 328 gives us enough time to go into West Hampstead Thameslink station and board the 2225 FCC service to Bedford that arrives at 2330 on Monday night.

Too slow, too slow, was the cry....as I have to stand in a dark corner of the forum as punishment for ten minutes...:roll:

We make our way to Piccadilly Circus underground station and board the 2240 Piccadilly Line service to London Victoria that arrives at 2251 on Monday evening
Impossible journey. The Piccadilly line doesn't go to Victoria.

Zoe, I am having the worst day imagineable on your quiz. The offending posting has now been "struck through". I once again retire to the same dark corner of the forum as before....but this time for more than "ten minutes in the sin-bin".

That is two consecutive wrong journeys I have stated.....Perhaps this qualifies me to work in any of these places who regularly give out incorrect information...:roll:

WE ARE STILL AT PICCADILLY CIRCUS AT 2227 ON A MONDAY EVENING

Just to avoid confusion, I'll continue my own post (not sure whether I'm allowed to do this) and take the Bakerloo Line from Piccadilly Circus at 2311 to Paddington, where one can have a choice of bus, train or tube, arriving there at 2323 on Monday evening.

I cannot go, as I made two consecutive postings that required "striking through" earlier and am not prepared to do "three-in-a-row, so the position with the quiz, after that last rules clarification is:-

WE ARE STILL AT PICCADILLY CIRCUS AT 2227 ON MONDAY EVENING

Good on you!

We then head to the railway station and embark on a late-night journey in the form of 1S88, which is Southeastern's 0010 service to Ramsgate, arriving there at the slightly unearthly hour of 0210 early on Tuesday morning.
