We look at the shops, but as in the words of "Georgy Girl", always window shopping but never stopping to buy(....I am giving my age away here but still a good film), we find time has flown far too quickly, so we go to bus stop D and board the 1145 London Bus service 189 to Cricklewood railway station (stand CL) that arrives at 1201 on Thursday afternoon.

Finding ourself back in the capital, we decide a visit to the more south-easterly area this time, so we board the 1952 Southeastern stopping service to Broadstairs that arrives at 2150 on Thursday evening.

Time to admire the magnificent external architectural facade of this iconic railway station before we board the 0925 EMT service to Sheffield that arrives at 1152 on Friday morning.

Time for a leisurely lunch in Sheffield, and perhaps photograph the trams, before we head to the Interchange for the 1325 TM Travel service 65 to Tideswell, , arriving at Fountain Square at 1423 Friday afternoon.

We walk the short distance back to the famous shop noted for "Tidza" items and cross the road opposite, where we see "The Cathedral of the Peak", the name given to the parish church of St John the Baptist, which is open for visitors where we spend time viewing this iconic building with its noted misericords, before returning to Fountain Square where we board the T.M. Travel service 66A which arrives at Bus Station Approach, Chesterfield at 1725 on Friday afternoon.

Having developed a liking for the Derbyshire Peak countryside, and wishing we'd originally bought a Derbyshire Wayfarer Ticket, we then cross to Beetwell St for Henry Hulley's 1805 service 170 to Bakewell, unfortunately arriving too late for a Bakewell Pudding at 1845, Friday evening.

we decide to stop for the night here as theres a nice looking B and B we find when wandering round. After a good sleap and breakfast we head for the National express 440 at 8:05, traveling with it as far as Leicester where we arive at St Margarets bus Station ation at ten past 10 ö Saturday morning

We have to remember it is Saturday timetables that apply today, so we spend some time having a hot drink and seeing all the different liveried buses at the bus station before going to bay 4 and boarding the 1150 Kinchbus Skyline service to Derby that arrives at 1321 at Railway Terrace, opposite the railway station.
