When one makes allowance for the rules 5 minute connection time and the rules stricture on walking, after my recent faux pas, I am loathe to "put my neck on the block" with regards to making a follow-on posting....

However, we are visited by Three Wise Men and Kings who are bearing Christmas gifts who pass on wisdom of a connection to us, so forsaking the Stagecoach services at an opposite stop, we next board the 1631 First service to Great Malvern (Foley Arms) that arrives there at 1706 on Wednesday afternoon.

We now take a short journey that allows us to access a railway station, if we should choose. We board the 17:13 First Bus 43F service to Great Malvern Railway Station arriving at 17:16 on Wednesday.

We do decide to switch to rail, and take the 1850 FGW service to Bristol Temple Meads, arriving at 2039 Wednesday evening

Indeed it is time to change the mode of travel. so we enter into the railway station and board the 1747 LM service (ex Birmingham) to Hereford that arrives there at 1822 on Wednesday evening.

With no further onward trains this evening we do our best to find some shelter... We continue on the first departure of the day, the 07:26 FGW service to Bodmin Parkway arriving at 08:32 Thursday morning.

We pass away the night and at the bus stop at the station P & R, we board the 0645 Plymouth Citybus service 45 to Plymouth (Royal Parade) that arrives there at 0718 on Thursday morning. Since I have found this earlier departure time, how do we stand on this day of queries ?

Given that the rail departure is to Bodmin, not Plymouth, and that it is less than two hours after the bus departure, I believe it is a move within the rules

Yes, the two hour clock starts from the time of the first available service (having waited the minimum connection time).

Time for a hot drink and a cornish pasty before we board the 1235 Western Greyhound service 587 to Threemilestone (Post Office) that arrives there at 1353 on Thursday afternoon.

Being unswayed by rail, we next board the 1430 First in Devon and Conwall service 18 to Camborne bus station that arrives there at 1448 on Thursday afternoon.

We look to return to a place where we spent some time in late Summer by joining the 15:04 First Devon & Cornwall 14 service to St Ives (Bus Station) arriving at 15:42 on Thursday.

Having arrived at a railway station we take the opportunity to transfer to the iron horse. We enter the station and board the 20:42 FGW service to Truro arriving at 20:57 on Thursday.

Leaving the railway station, we walk to the bus stop on the road outside and board the 2048 First in Devon and Cornwall service 14 to Truro bus station that arrives there at 2054 on Thursday evening.

I believe we are actually at Truro rail station since High Dyke posted a move from Penryn first.

But that is exactly where my posting started from and outside Truro railway station is the bus stop from where the six minute bus journey from there (as mentioned in my posting) to Truro bus station leaves from.

I have made that particular short bus journey many times in real life when taking the rail journey from Falmouth Docks railway station to Truro railway station, rather than walking into Truro from the railway station.

Can an adjudication be made on this posting of explanation.

Sorry, I misread your post. For some reason I thought you were turning down the opportunity to travel by rail from Penryn (although a journey from there to Truro would of course take more than six minutes) but now I can see that the post was indeed in response to High Dyke's move to Truro and your move was indeed valid and so we are at Truro bus station at 2054 on Thursday.
