We are in luck as the bus that connects with the train is due at the stop that serves the station. We board the 10:55 EYMS 350 service which carries us across the River Humber into East Yorkshire. We alight at Hull (Midland Street) arriving at 11:15 on Sunday

This seems to be one of those stops that is served in one direction only. Regretting having got off one stop short of a shilling we take the next bus on to Hull Interchange it being EYMS service 153 departing at 1130 and arriving 1138 Sunday morning

Having satisfied our curiosity we await the next bus to arrive. We board the 13:47 EYMS service 75 and alight at Keyingham (Ship Inn) arriving 14:16 on Sunday afternoon.

Having visited the settlement famous for its breweries we return eastwards on the 22:06 Yorkbus 843 Coastliner service and alight at York Railway Station arriving 22:30 on Sunday.

With no further onwards journey possible we settle down for the night. The next morning we see an early westbound departure before we board the 06:14 Yorkbus 840 service and alight at Pickering (Eastgate Square) arriving 06:33 on Monday morning.

Fortunately we arrive back in the town centre a minute's walk from the railway station. We've decided having spend the last couple of days or so exploring East Yorkshire that it's time to head somewhere different, so we board the 15.48 TPX service to Leeds arriving 17.04 on Monday

HOLD HOLD HOLD!

You cannot walk to a different location. Scarborough Railway Station would be the Bus Stop if we wanted to continue on the railway.

Taken from the rules:

Walking
You may not walk between stations of the same mode although you may walk to a different bus stop at the same location for example by crossing the road in order to travel in a different direction. You may also walk when changing modes but only to a stop serving the same location.

Traveline says it's 4 minute walk

I think we are stuck on the 3/3a until someone finds a stop common with another service. Peasholm Park somewhere?

Indeed so...look at posting # 5862 where you will find the service that took us to Peasholme Park in the first place.
That'll be my fault then...;)

I was investigating other services from York Place, but have to wait until the game resumes. It doesn't seem the most passenger friendly stop in Scarborough, but there are others services that seem to use the same location.

Well put it this way - I haven't managed to find any other service using York Place other than the 3/3A. But Traveline Yorkshire is a pig of a site not designed to give that sort of information.

This is indeed the case and so we will RESUME under open floor conditions from Scarborough (York Place) at 1455 on Monday.

Having now grown a little weary of the area we attempt to find an alternative by travelling on the 15:20 Scarborough & District 3A service to Peasholm Park arriving at 15:27 on Monday afternoon.
