1719 at Morrisons. De minimis non curat dzug

Indeed so. I had made a note of time of the bus station departure and the time of the arrival at Morrisons, but force of habit caused me to use the bus station departure time, in error. My posting time has now been amended from 1715 to the correct time of 1719. Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa.

Arriva's 20 service then returns us to Aberaeron Alban Square, departing at 2047 and arriving at 2152 Tuesday evening

Time has once again see us view the bus that we arrived on depart and realise the last bus of the day has departed, not surprising at this late time, so having made overnight arrangements and having slept the sleep of the just, we partake of an excellent Welsh breakfast before returning to the square to board the 0810 Richards Bros service X50 to Penparc (Penparc Farm) that arrives there at 0840 on Wednesday morning.

As only every second bus stops here, it affords us the opportunity to take on board a hearty mid-day meal then a perambulation of the town, before returning to the same bus stop where we arrived and board the 1353 Richards Bros service 412 to Haverfordwest bus station that arrives there at 1422 on Wednesday afternoon.

Time to visit the Cathedral before returning to board the 1645 Richards Bros service 400 to Marloes Village (Pentref Marloes) that arrives there at 1810 on Wednesday afternoon......NOTE: It runs round the area before returning to the same bus stop terminal point a few minutes later

Once again, we see the last bus of the day departing at a rather early time so there is nothing for it but to seek overnight accommodation, have a home-cooked tea then retire early for the evening. We awake very early and have a sumptuous cooked Welsh breakfast and then make our way back to the bus stop and board the 0750 Edwards Bros service 315 to Milford Haven (Robert Street) that arrives there at 0823 on Thursday morning.

Well as far as I can make out the 315 service is the only one serving Roberts Street and as we cannot make use of the services in adjacent streets albeit a trivial distance away we wait for the 1048 departure and travel to Tiers Cross arriving at 1109 Thursday morning

We are certainly making a travelogue of this area and once again are fortunate that Edwards Bros have such useful services running here, so after exploring the area, we return to board the 1313 Edwards Bros service 315 to St Ishmael's (Village Hall on Trewarren) that arrives there at 1345 on Thursday afternoon.

Noting the desire to get back onto the rail network, we board the 1557 Richard Bros bus service 412 to Haverfordwest Railway Station arriving at 1602 on Monday.

Apologies for the delay in rejoining the game

Faced with a somewhat sparse service from this godforsaken pile (sorry...) , we continue on the next eastbound ATW train at 2218 and travel to Bridgend, arriving at 2226 Monday evening

We look to see if there are any more services today and find that we are in luck and so board the 2343 Arriva Trains Wales service to Barry Island arriving at 0002 on Tuesday.

This is not a valid move as you need to allow the minimum connection time (or 5 minutes where not stated) which for Caephilly is 3 minutes. We remain at Caerphilly at 0608 on Tuesday with musicking1306 having priority to post the next move until 1202 on Friday 12 July after which time it becomes open floor.

The next move will be to the same location as the void move but after allowing the minimum connection time of 3 minutes we board the 0650 Arriva Trains Wales service to Cardiff Queen Street arriving at 0704 on Tuesday.

There don't seem to be any buses departing from the stop outside the station other than in the evening or on Sundays. Instead of posting a rail move though, I will give an opportunity for anyone to point out any bus services leaving from the station. It does seem quite strange that evenings and Sundays would be the only time that buses would be available from the station.

But the quiz can still proceed onwards by the use of rail transport, as it was by this mode of travel that I used in my posting that saw us arrive here.
It can although I will call a short HOLD here to allow a period for discussion on the availability of bus services as I wouldn't want the opportunity to use a bus service to be missed and also so that the situation is clear in case we end up here again.

At a guess the buses at the rail station do so to connect with trains at times when through buses from those destinations to (say) Cardiff aren't running.

I can't find any daytime buses either - though Traveline Cymru is not the most user friendly of sites. Better than some, true

I will allow until 24 hours after the hold was called for anyone to point out bus services that run. After 1115 tomorrow the game should be considered resumed.

Im not to sure what i've missed in this game in the week or so since I was last on here (I havent gone through all the posts made in that time as that would take an age). If there is a bus stop serving a railway station, surely its up to the next person to make a move to decide if it will be by bus or train. If the move is not liked by all then there isnt much that can be done.

You just need to read the posts that have occurred since I made the posting that saw us arrive by train at Merthyr Tydfil. However, we are currently in a HOLD situation until 1115 on Monday morning (see the latest post by Zoe).

It would appear (and I say appear coz I can't find any at all though I haven't looked that hard) that there are no buses from the bus stop in question for getting on for 12 hours - I think the rules allow for a 2 hour wait after the first possible transport - in this case a train - otherwise whatever is going must be taken

The HOLD is to allow the absence of daytime buses to be verified
