A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
Onto the West Side with 2N51, the 1924 Northern service to Carlisle, arriving there at 2100 on Tuesday evening.

We seem to have some sort of a problem here, as I feel that this service is the continuation of the posting above with regard to the train service, as there is a 3 minute layover time at Haltwistle from its arrival there at 1921 and the departure onwards at 1924.

Based on the Northern timetable for this route, I would agree with your assertion that it is the same service (18:24 Newcastle, 19:22 Haltwhistle, 19:55 Carlisle). The arrival time used of 21:00 at Carlsile though would suggest that the wrong service has been looked at somewhere along the line.

2N51 leaves Haltwhistle at 2025 and arrives at Carlisle at 2104. Was this the intended train?

Looks like it was in response to the previous move to Glasgow Central but Paul posted first so we are at Stranraer at 1200 on Wednesday.

How long have Cross Country been running services from Stranraer to Bristol Parkway....

Because when I posted you said 'post deleted'; I had no idea a new journey was going to be placed and I continued from Glasgow. Apologies for that! Was not aware :)

We then take the short walk to Port Rodie and board the 500 operated by Stagecoach Western at 1230 to Dumfries railway station, arriving there at 1448 on Wednesday afternoon.
