A change of platform and we board the 2234 First ScotRail service to Perth that arrives there at 0008 on Monday morning.
Our sea legs are ready so it's onto the 09:40 Caledonian MacBrayne ferry from Uig to Tarbert (Harris), arriving there at 11:20 on Tuesday morning.
Void move, you have to continue from where the last post left you. I don't mind a short walk in order to change modes but no walking to a different station. Sorry for not noticing this earlier. We remain at Helensburgh Central at 1054 on Monday. After wandering around Helensburgh for a while, we find ourselves next to Helensburgh Upper station and decide it's time to take a look at Glencoe, but that's not easy from where we are, so the first move is to jump on the 13:06 Scotrail service to Bridge of Orchy, arriving there at 14:46 on Monday afternoon.

OK I'll get us back on course so we can still be in Uig if wanted. Not Harris though
Helensburgh has little to offer so we jump on the 11:35 Garelochhead Minibus service 316 from East Princes Street to Garelochhead, Dunivard Road on B872, arriving there at 11:52 on Monday morning.
Fairly dos, but doesn't that negate going from King's Cross to St Pancras and a couple of other possibles, like West Hampstead, as busing or tubing, while possible, isn't sensible?
.
Oops I've misread the timetable and alighted short. Too late to change though. Apologies to next poster
I arrived at 1904, Paul - so instantaneous transfer. Allowed?
You've made the move I would have done if I'd scrolled down the timetable far enough rather than wondering why it was a short journey - and also realised there were two 1800 departures........
We make our way to Buchanan Street bus station for Scottish Citylink's 1800 departure on route 976 to Tarbet TIC, arriving at 1904 Monday evening

I think you missed the Ardvasar leg Paul
We've got there just in time for the 16:45 Caledonian MacBrayne ferry across the sound to Mallaig, arriving there at 17:15 on Wednesday.
