Remember to show the "quiz day" at the end of any postings....

We decide to stay with rail and head off south and we board the 1516 XC service to Winchester that arrives there at 1624 on Wednesday afternoon.

Just to make it very clear, the above was the last move.

Ever had the feeling that buses to rural retreats finish too soon...:oops:....so being unable to return on the same bus we arrived on, it is time to seek hotel accommodation first, then to explore this area of Hampshire later on, after partaking of an excellent meal, after which we decide to have an early night and awake in good time to return to the bus stop where we can board the 0709 Stagecoach in Hampshire service 68 to Littleton (Littleton Church) that arrives there at 0732 on Thursday morning.

Not a lot happening in Littleton at that time in the morning and we are at the opposite end of the village to the stores where a snack might have been obtainable, so we perforce wait for the next 68 bus at 0805 and return to Winchester Railway Station Bridge, arrivig at 0820 Thursday morning

Worthing is quite a pleasant place and one that offers reasonable food establishments that we have a selection to choose from to take a light meal and suitably refreshed in body and mind, we board the 1851 Stagecoach South Coastliner 700 service to Chichester bus station that arrives there at 2017 on Thursday evening.

We are getting in tired, and just remembered we have a berth booked on the Night Rivera.

So we await the 0037 FGW Sleeper Service to Truro, arriving at 0704 Friday Morning

Deleted - taken to Holyhead while checking times for the opposite direction.

Do we have an arrival time in Mona's fair isle?

Well I was trying to head east, so here's another possibly vain attempt at that - the 0920 ATW service to Birmingham International arriving at 1350 Saturday afternoon
