Always remember to show the "quiz" day as the final part of each posting

This gives us time to walk to the railway station where there is a service awaiting us with many stations to call at if so required, so we board the 0436 ATW service to Broome (remembering to inform the train staff that we wish to disembark at this request stop)....which arrives there at 0746 on Monday morning.

Ludlow has much to offer the visitor and a mid-morning arrival enables us to stroll around the the town and down the hill to the river, then we back-track to the square and venture into the Castle, whose remains which are well conserved. Ludlow being famous for its food sees us dining well and all too soon it is time to depart so we make our way back to the bus stop where we board the 1316 Roy Brown service X11 to Builth Wells that arrives there at 1502 on Monday afternoon.

Realising we're in for a long wait for a service back to civilisation, we take a nice leisurely walk up the hill that gives the station its name. We return for the 19:56 Arriva Trains Wales service to Hopton Heath, arriving 21:27 Monday

We are so tired now that it is all that we can do is to book an overnight stay with a very early morning alarm call at the Hopton House B&B and after a long and restful sleep, we return to the railway station in good time to board the 0559 ATW service to Pantyffynnon that arrives there at 0822 on Tuesday morning.

I think you've made a mistake with the arrival time - the 0559 from Hopton Heath is due at Pantyffynnon at 08:22 (It calls at Llandeilo at 08:02)

We decide a healthy walk from the railway station across to Kingsway is in order as this will afford us the opportunity to take a long omnibus voyage through many rural areas and we board the 1421 Stagecoach in South Wales service T4 to Dolfor (bus stop on the A483) that arrives there at 1740 on Tuesday afternoon.

Well it's stick or twist

The only transport out that I can see is the T4 bus an hour later (58 minutes if you are being picky) which we take to Llandrindod station arriving at 1916 Tuesday evening

We make nightly perambulations around the station platforms, noting that Virgin Trains could have done far more to make this station much more attractive to the rail users over the years and spend some time deciding on the itinerary for the coming day, until it is time to board the 0459 ATW service to Stafford that arrive there at 0524 on Wednesday morning.

Deciding that, after a short wander, Stafford doesn't offer much in the way of breakfast at that time in the morning, we jump on the Arriva Midlands bus service 825 at 06:12 from the station to see what Litchfield has to offer breakfast-wise, arriving at Litchfield Bus Station at 07:20 on Wednesday morning.

After time for a hot drink....and to clean our reading glasses, we decide to stay with omnibus travel since we are at a bus station and a cursory viewing of the timetables on display encourages us to board the 0755 Arriva Midlands service 825 to Rugeley bus station that arrives there at 0825 on Wednesday morning.

Over to the train station to take the 08.46 London Midland service to Tame Bridge Parkway, arriving 09.18.

...service 825 at 06:12 from the station to see what Litchfield has to offer breakfast-wise, arriving at Litchfield Bus Station at 07:20 on Wednesday morning.

That's a fast bus, getting all the way from Staffordshire to Hampshire in an hour! :P

(Lichfield, Staffs has no t; Litchfield, Hants does.)

Having had enough of the Midlands, we decide to head south to grab some culture and get annoyed by students and so jump on the 14:41 XC to Oxford, getting there at 16:14.
