We enjoyed our bus ride and wish to see more of Buckshaw Village so we decide to visit the still new station.

We nip across the road and do not have long to wait till the 1021 Transpennine Express service to Buckshaw Parkway arriving at 1024 on Tuesday morning

Also worth a mention is that our train is two 185 sets which will split at Preston, one going to Blackpool North and the other to Windermere.
So we will no doubt have lots of space to enjoy on our three minute journey.

A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
We now plan to have a very good mid-day meal to sustain us as we decide to make a journey in real life, with many stations to pass through, that has intrigued us whilst participating in "The next station is" quiz on a well-respected forum web site, so fully replenished, we board the 1424 ATW service to Criccieth that arrives there at 1904 on Tuesday evening.

We decide to go and have a look at Express Motors' rolling-stock in their yard, and as that means a wait in Criccieth, we knock on the door of the first elderly lady's house we find, hoping for a warm Welsh welcome, a sit by a cosy fire and a nice cup of tea.
However, she sets the dog on to us and threatens to call the local Heddlu, so we retire rapidly to the relative comfort of a nearby hostelry and await the 2105 Express Motors Service 1 from Y Maes to Penygroes, arriving there at 2125, Tuesday evening.

Unfortunately, the open-top service to Pensarn or Talacre ceased on 2nd September, and as I suppose a 17-minute walk to Prestatyn Railway station would be rather stretching the rules as well as our legs, we await the 1109 Voel Coaches PS1 to the Royal Victoria Hotel, Prestatyn, where we arrive at 1111, Wednesday morning.

There is much too see in this area and we are pleased to have a good amount of time to allow us to do this and it is all too soon that we return to the bus stop in order to make a coastal visit in the early evening, so we board the 1836 Arriva Traws Cambria service X94 to Barmouth railway station that arrives there at 1935 on Wednesday evening.

Barmouth must be interesting as you both want to go there!

Unfortunately, we have to pull ourselves away for the 2120 ATW's service to Machynlleth, arriving 2222 Wednesday evening, otherwise we'd be there all night!

As I am a Plymouth Argyle fan, I am not very well liked in Exeter, so from St Davids, we take the 1408 FGW service arriving Plymouth at 1506 Thursday Afternoon.

Yelverton is very Bland, and nowhere to stay. I fancy a few drinks, so wait for the 1900 First Devon & Cornwall Service 86 to Mutley Plain (Plymouth) arriving at 1928 Thursday Evening
