I assume Paul Sidorczuk has put the wrong time in, being we left Victoria at 1802 and arrived in Portsmouth Harbour at 2007 as per pervious post, and on that basis we board the 2023 First Great Western service to Car.... actually we realise at last moment we stop at Southampton Central at 2108 Friday evening so we get off there

We catch the 2151 SWT to Dorchester South, arriving at 2308, Friday evening

This gives us chance to experience the night life on a major London station until it is time for us to board the 0232 FCC service to Bedford that arrives there at 0347 on Saturday morning.
Hang on, we are at London Bridge - the 0232 is from St Pancras. Getting there is surely at least one move in itself? No through trains at night.
We get the FCC train at 2337 from Brighton to London Bridge, arriving at 0052 Saturday morning
