As time is closing in on us, we decide to change our mode of travel from LU to NR at this interchange station, so we access the NR station and deciding against the short hop to Waterloo, we find a service that heads westwards to a large station and we then board the 2347 SWT service to Reading that arrives there at 0116 on Monday morning.

We then continue with 1C01, the 0556 First Great Western service to Bristol Temple Meads, arriving there at 0714 on Monday morning.

We decide on a change of direction and board the 0722 FGW service to Romsey that arrives there at 0850 on Monday morning

We take time to have a hot drink and a snack and decide upon a run along the south-coast line and we board the 1033 Southern service to Southwick that arrives there at 1207 on Monday afternoon.

We then take the short stroll to Southwick Square and catch the 1224 Brighton and Hove Buses route 46 service to Open Market (Ditchling Road), arriving there at 1323 on Tuesday afternoon.

It did not take us long to be back on the Brighton and Hove bus fleet again...

Only a matter of minutes at the same bus stop to wait outside Brighton Open Market before we board the 1334 Brighton and Hove Bus service 26 to Coldean (Forest Road) that arrives there at 1400 on Tuesday afternoon.

It's because it's so boring to do trains all the time so I try and be different. Everyone else just does trains really.

After exploring the town, we turn up at the railway station just after our service departs so wait an hour for the 20:30 Northern service to Blackburn arriving there at 20:46 Saturday Evening

Hate to be picky, but this is technically an invalid move. The distance between the Withy Trees bus stop and the railway station is over a 5 min walk.

But hay, on with the quiz

We take in an overnighter at Stafford station before moving on the next morning with the 06:21 Virgin Trains service which we take as far as Milton Keynes Central, arriving at 07:13 Wednesday morning.
