We walk for 10 minute 0.4 mile to the Bus Station for the 0730 Stagecoach service 727 to Aberdeen Airport arrivng at 0802 on Saturday morning.

Connecting nicely with the 08.10 Ember service E7 to Inverness, Union Street arriving at 11.12 on Saturday.

We note a service to the extreme north-east runs from that stop, so we next board the 1419 Ember service E6 to Lybster (the bus stop opposite the Portland Arms Hotel on the A99) that arrives there at 1701 on Saturday.

With very little else available and not wanting to get stuck in the far north on a Sunday we wait for the next return E6 at 20.10 getting us back to Inverness, Union Street at 22.33 on Saturday.

....and one that almost caused an onset of nervous exhaustion, when having finally reached Lybster (the place that gave its name to the ailment once known as Lybster Omnibus Syndrome), it was really bad fortune that it was late on Saturday with no local buses on Sunday, causing someone to make an immediate back-track from when that service came from....
