As there isn't much to do in a housing estate in Exwick, we begrudgingly have no choice but to walk 25 minutes to Exeter St David's.

Invalid move I'm afraid, you can only walk up to half a mile.

Hmm.
In which case, unless I'm missing something, I can't see an option for progression? The only transport within half a mile are buses of which:
The E service has just been use = invalid
The 985 service next runs at 3pm = more than two hours = invalid
Everywhere else is too far a walk.
What do you suggest? Like I say, I am probably missing something?

The E runs every 12 minutes.
It is valid to use the same route for consecutive journeys but not the same service.

There are plenty of other buses here, but for no other reason than to walk past the house I grew up in, we walk (13 mins / 0.5 mile - just in the rules 
) through Trefusis Park to the Byland Rd stop on Blandford Rd where we await Stagecoach South West service 27 at 1518. We alight at Derriford (Marjon) at 1559 on Wednesday.
Pondering that up until April this stop had been served by Plymouth Citybus / PCT since buses began (and Plympton Coachlines for a short while...) but is now the preserve of Stagecoach.

That was most confusing with Rogers Garage, as there's also a Rogers Garage in between Elburton and Brixton on the 3 route!
