A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
Since that service seems to be the only one to serve that area and the school is apparently only on the outward direction, we decide to wait for the next bus and carry on to the terminus and next board the 1638 First West of England service 7 to Locking Parklands (Anson Road) that arrives there at 1640 on Friday.

If you had taken the short walk to Anson Road, we would have been able to make a return journey.

Boarding the bus we just alighted off but on its return working, we next board the 1645 First West of England  Badgerline service 7 to Worle (Health Centre), arriving there at 1743 on Friday.

From what the timetable states. a two minute journey by bus would seem to take over more than the half-mile walk allowed by the rules. How far did that bus actually travel in its two minute journey? Why did that service stop short, when it could have gone through to the terminus on Anson Road, why place you suggested walking to stated above?

I contend that my posting was a validly-made posting, as it used an existing bus service.
