Are you sure about this? All I can see remaining is an 1818 1A back towards Moreton-in-Marsh on a Saturday? The last service towards Stratford seems to be the one we've just got off. Forgive me if I'm wrong, however.

Google has that as over an hour's walk from the stop we alighted at.

EDIT - 54 minutes.

OK - point of order - it really *shouldn't* be described as Chipping Campden then - it's nearer to Broadway than Chipping Campden - I'll strike my post out.

Point of order or not, I'll continue to use the bus stop names as quoted on bustimes.org as i'm not to know the locality of stops in areas i'm unfamiliar with which must be the case for all of us as contributors.

This is why I despise Bus Times for that reason. Amazing for layout and navigation; location wise its about as useful as a vegan at a hog roast!!

Well I believe the 1818 Stagecoach 1A runs on a Saturday to Moreton-in-Marsh Station, so shall we go with that, arriving at 1839 on Saturday?

Works for me. I think i've said to you before that it's frustrating for me as a bus operator to see misleading localities on our services!

We'll alight the bus and walk into the railway station and await the 1854 Great Western Railway service to Charlbury arriving at 1910 on Saturday.

OBSERVATION

As a matter of sheer interest, I too use bustimes.org for the majority of bus times postings that I make and twice in quite recent times, their area description in timetables has been "corrected" by another website contributor. I admit not to have an encyclopaedic area location name knowledge of all the settlements that are covered by this particular thread, so I have no other option than to use that information that is printed in timetables in the bustimes, org website.

There are other options available.

Happy to discuss via message to save clogging up the thread.

We depart at 1137 on NXWM service 33. We decide to alight at Pheasey, Collingwood Centre at 1153 on Sunday.

The observant amongst as, and those of a certain age, may recognise the (unexpected) link between this destination and my username :D
