A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
In the words of Michelle in 'Allo 'Allo..."Listen, I shall say this only once"......noting the duplication above.... :D

Mindful of the 10 minute minimum connection time at that large station, we next board the 1436 Northern Trains service to Holmes Chapel that arrives there at 1528 on Monday afternoon.

If we look like being stranded late at night, it is better to be in a big city rather than an outlying village....so I am informed.....

Well it certainly offers slightly more opportunities....

We'll take a 10 minute stroll to Nottingham Broadmarsh Bus Station and then a little wait until 0100 Wednesday morning when we'll board the National Express 767 which is heading to Stansted Airport, but we'll alight at Peterborough Queensgate Bus Station at 0300 Wednesday morning.

Being just a 3 minute walk fronm the railway station we head there looking for the opportunity to fly far away (well, we are near Gatwick, after all).
Pretending we are swans, we fly on Southern railway 1J10 at 0818 to Swanwick (geddit?) where we arrive at 0946 on Wednesday.
