I'm aware of that, however I am still entitled of the opinion that domestic flights across the UK could be permitted in theory, as long as it remained within the boundary of Great Britain.
I think that only you and I were the remaining active participants on the first incarnation of this quiz which was launched by @Zoe and was brought to a halt by the forum quizmaster team. We were consulted by them in the interim period before this second version of the quiz and it was decided that the four named embargoed methods of transport were the ones that would be in the updated rules of this current incarnation of the quiz. Since the relaunch, clarification on "connected" areas to the mainland and ferries to offshore islands were added to that section by the forum quizmaster team.

From Pool Valley, walk to Old Stein (2 mins), there we pick up the Stagecoach 700 leaving at 0820 which we take to Worthing Marine Parade, arriving at 0922 Monday morning.

Just a tad too late for most bus services (except for the 2 which we'd only be able to take to Fair Oak and back), so we next board the 2312 South Western Railway service 1W80 to Fleet, arriving there at 0001 in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

We leave from station bus stop NK on London United for TfL service 71 at 0558. We are a bit early for the rides, but nevertheless we alight at Malden Rushett (Chessington World of Adventures (Stop Z)) at 0613 on Tuesday.

A 5 minute walk around the corner to Burnt Oak Broadway stop C, where we wait until 1218 when we board Uno service 614 to Hatfield arriving at Hatfield Railway Station at 1316 Tuesday afternoon.

A half hour wait at one of the line's less salubrious stations, however at 1442 we'll board the Great Northern service to Stevenage (via Hertford) arriving at 1545 Tuesday afternoon.
