With it being far too late for bus services on a Sunday, we are fortunate enough that one more service remains as we board the 2330 Northern service 2J86 to Moorside, arriving there at 2352 on Sunday evening.

We do not have much option to make an onward move, so we decide it would be sensible to take advantage of the overnight travel relaxation rule and rather than look for an early morning local area bus, we stay on the station and board the 0616 Northern Trains service to Todmorden that arrives there at 0707 on Monday morning.

We next board the 0754 Northern service 2K63 to Upholland, arriving there at 0925 on Monday morning.

I did state "rather than look for local buses" in my posting as that particular area of Salford MBC is one that is better not to be in at 2352 on a Sunday evening and it would have meant leaving the railway station in order to walk to the bus stop and that time was within the allowed time to use the overnight travel relaxation ruling.
At least the train that I chose took us away from Greater Manchester.

We are over half a mile from the nearest bus stop, so we cross platforms and board Northern's 1005 service, from which we alight at Wigan Wallgate at 1019 on Monday.

We leave the railway station, crossing over Wallgate and take the two minute walk to the bus stances outside Wigan North Western railway station and there board the 1044 Arriva North West service 385 to Carr Cross (the bus stop opposite Coe End Farm on Southport Road) that arrives there at 1221 on Monday morning.

At 1750 we head off from Stand 1 on National Express service 550, alighting at Digbeth, Birmingham Coach Station at 2015 on Monday.

I have a "thing" about us getting stuck in Liverpool for ever 8-)

We sleep, and then walk (5 min / 0.2 mile) [or do we walk and then sleep???] to the stop known as Barclays, where we await Morebus service 4 at 0536. We alight at Wimborne Minster (The Square) at 0610 on Tuesday.

Bidding a lovely farewell to Bournemouth, we take the six minute walk to the station and board the 1222 South Western Railway service 1W58 to London Waterloo, arriving there at 1419 on Tuesday afternoon.

Remembering that there is a 15-minute minimum connection time at this very large railway station, wishing to stay with the south-coastal region, we next board the 1435 South Western Railway service to Weymouth that arrives there at 1715 on Tuesday afternoon.
That was one hell of a detour to go 50 minutes down the line from Bournemouth....
We head for platform 1 where we depart at 1730 on GWR's service towards Bristol. We alight at Frome at 1901 on Tuesday.
We are just a wee bit too far away from the town centre to board any local bus services, and there isn't a great deal of rail options either. All we can really do for now is board the 1957 South Western Railway service 1L51 to Westbury, arriving there at 2006 on Tuesday evening.
