Gameplay

The Aim of the game is to travel around the country using public transport in a pseudo-realistic fashion. To play, you must depart from the station or stop where the previous post arrived using a permitted timetabled public transport service. Having arrived at the destination, the minimum connection time for the station or stop must be allowed for. Where this is not published, a minimum interchange time is considered to be five minutes.
The above extract of the rules and guides notes on the very first posting of the quiz is useful for new contributors to this thread to be aware of.

Shall we proceed by simply stepping back an hour at Barnsley and taking the 0812 from Barnsley to Lincoln Central, which arrives at 1001 on Tuesday?

Was wondering why on earth the 2 was scheduled to take such a long time to get from Hilsea to the city centre, but then I realised it goes via Southsea!

We next board the 1817 Stagecoach South service 21 to Anchorage Park (Morrisons), arriving there at 1849 on Tuesday evening.

Our only real option is to return to Havant, so to prevent us getting bored we take advantage of the overnight ruling and escape Portsea Islaand and its environs.
We return in the morning to stop C where at 0603 we board Stagecoach South service 700. We alight at Chichester (Cathedral, stop P) at 0650 on Wednesday morning.

Southdown PSV service 658 takes us at 1541 to Warlingham (Sainsburys), arriving at 1556 on Wednesday.

This school service specifically says it is available to the public on the operator's website.
