We take another 6 minute walk to the previous stop, Cheltenham (Francis Close Hall) and take Stagecoach West's N service at 1408 to Cheltenham (Queen's Road), arriving at 1411 on Saturday.

Edit: it looks like Google Maps has different times to bustimes.org, which says it stats at 1405 but has the same time at Queen's Road of 1411

More edit: Neither of those is valid as we got there at 1410...

There's a 1435 getting to Queens Road at 1441?

Also, I notice Bus Times describes this as a closed service, not available to the public. That is absolute tosh - I boarded one yesterday!!

Yeah it said that for another one when we were last down in this part of the country. Can't exactly remember which though.

If we'll allow a self correction then let's take that 6 minute walk to Cheltenham (Francis Close Hall) and board Stagecoach West's N service at 1435 to Cheltenham (Queen's Road), alighting at 1441 on Saturday.

Just too far from the railway station at this point so we wait for the 2010 DRM Bus service 476 to Hereford (Country Bus Station), arriving there at 2045 on Saturday evening.

The connection time at Ilkeston doesn't bother us as we wait for a twice-daily EMR service departing at 1817 to Norwich, arriving at 2133 on Sunday evening.

That's the last service of the day so we have many hours to take the one minute walk round the corner to the Gorleston (adj Magdalena Square) bus stop for First Norfolk & Suffolk's service 8 at 0628 to Great Yarmouth (opp Hospital), arriving at 0655 on Monday morning.

Have got a bit of wait for at this stop now for a service on either direction, so we wait for the 0906 First Eastern Counties Coastal Clipper service 1 to Lowestoft (Bus Station), arriving there at 1023 on Monday morning.

A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
Just a short sabbatical this time round then.
I felt that under the circumstances prevailing and medically, somewhat being in none too good a shape, I felt that as I had a six-monthly meeting scheduled with my post-stroke consultant (stroke suffered in July 2012), that I could discuss recent events as being similar occurring in real life that were also affecting me, as one of the things you have to watch out for in post-stroke situations is being aware of the effects on the brain when the blood supply is becoming disrupted. I am currently prescribed Apixiban to aid that blood supply. An unfortunate extra cross to bear for me is the emotional state that I can find myself sometimes facing at the age of 77. My consultant said that whilst I still participate on websites, to be warned against finding myself in "situations" and not to react to matters from which it is easier not to become too involved.
