We exit the station and take the five minute walk to the bus stop on Slade Road, opposite the intersections of St Thomas' Road and Hunton Hill, where we board the 1804 National Express West Midlands service 65 to Perry Common (Court Lane/Witton Lodge Road*), arriving there at 1816 on Tuesday evening.

* Confusingly, there appear to be two stops with exactly the same name on seperate roads, both on Witton Lodge Road. Witton Lodge Road appears to split into a fork. The 65 loops around Court Lane to the terminus so for the avoidance of doubt, I've selected the last stop circled in blue (officially the terminus). See screenshot attached. Hope this sums up any confusion!

I still marvel at how different sources call different stops by different names - you'd have thought by now there would be a standard...
On bustimes the eastbound stop is referred to as Short Heath, before Court Lane. The westbound being "after Court Lane"...

Let's walk (5 min / 0.2 mile) to the southbound Chaceley Grove stop on Flackwell Rd, where we await Diamond service 96 at 1823.
We alight at Smith's Wood, Castle Bromwich Junior School at 1902 on Tuesday.

I'm struggling with this one, as I can't find a 76 at Yoxall Rd, or indeed at Kings Norton station. Am I missing something? Sorry, I try not to be pedantic but am genuinely defeated on this one... 8-)

Is it a 49? Seems to almost fit.
Sorry folks, it is the 49 indeed!!

The 76 goes from nearby Northfield and Selly Oak to Solihull via Shirley so I mixed them up

Realised I caught a 49 last weekend...

Not a lot of late evening options, so we continue on the 2206 NXWM service 49 to Solihill Town Centre, Stop SL arriving at 2212 on Tuesday.

We have a short rest and then continue on the first available service, the 0350 National Express service 210 to Heathrow Central Bus Station arriving at 0525 on Wednesday morning.

Please feel free to correct me if I've missed something we can do at this time of night! This is only my second post on this thread...

The 15-20 minute walk to Banstead high street with its plentiful busses seems a little too much so we settle for the hourly service from outside the station.

We board the 1050 Arriva London service 166 to Woodmansterne Station (Stop A) arriving at 1110 on Wednesday morning.
