We alight at Okehampton, Fore St Arcade at 1257 on Wednesday.
We walk around the corner to Market Street and board the 1338 Stagecoach South West service 75A to Bideford (Quay), arriving there at 1450 on Wednesday afternoon.
We walk the 7 mins (0.2 miles) to the Baptist Church, where we board Filers Travel service 301 at 1659.
We alight in Barnstaple at the North Devon District Hospital at 1731 on Wednesday.
Many routes serve differing parts of Roundswell, but quite erratically (!), so we stay here at Sainsbury's and await the same Stagecoach South West service 19 after it goes around its loop, at 1825. We alight at Barnstaple, Railway Station Entrance, stop B at 1831 on Wednesday.
Moving away from road transport, we enter the station and board the 1843 Great Western Railway service 2R92 to Exeter Central, arriving there at 2001 on Wednesday evening.
We take the seven minute walk to Station Road and board the 0804 Arriva Beds & Bucks service 850 to Reading (Friar Street), arriving there at 0839 on Thursday morning.
Heading back on to the trains, we walk to Reading staton (3 min / 0.2 mile), where we board 1G07, GWR's 0853 service. We alight at Gloucester at 1015 on Thursday.
We wait awhile, and board 1S25, the Caledonian Sleeper service towards Aberdeen, Inverness and Fort WIlliam.
Making sure we are in the right portion, we alight at Aviemore at 0739 on Friday morning.
Mindful of the 15 minute minimum interchange time here, we board 2C40, Thameslink's 1622 service towards Cambridge.
We alight at Letchworth Garden City at 1720 on Friday.
