We leave here on Stagecoach West service 23 at 2020. We alight at Westbury-on-Severn (Bay Tree House) at 2108 on Wednesday.
Just to point out that the last handful of posts have referred to Stagecoach South West when it should be Stagecoach South...![]()
Off the back of this, to be clear I’d never expect any postings to be invalid because of such a technicality. We need to communicate clearly the service that is taken and I hope you’ll all agree that in any case “Stagecoach” would suffice (any extra detail is a nicety)!Well spotted. Whilst technically "incorrect" it probably isn't worth following the rules to the letter and striking through and reposting!

We await the 22:42 Stagecoach service number 22. We alight at its terminus at Gloucester Transport Hub at 23:00 this Wednesday. We leave here on Stagecoach West service 23 at 2020. We alight at Westbury-on-Severn (Bay Tree House) at 2108 on Wednesday.
I really don't understand where this knowledge that Oxford is a frequented area comes from. There are settlements where we end up visiting far more intensively and frequently, Nottingham/Trent Barton and Thameslink territory springing to mind.On this quiz, Oxford is one of those places we are stuck in for ages going on many bus services, so being grateful to have disembarked at the railway station, we make our way inside and board the 0011 Great Western Railway service to Slough that arrives there at 0057 on Friday morning.
We take the seven minute walk to Windsor & Eton Riverside and board the 0751 South Western Railway service 2U16 to Whitton, arriving there at 0821 on Friday morning.Next we cross the road and catch the 0657 Reading Buses Green Line service 703, from which we alight at Windsor (Parish Church, stop J) at 0731 on Friday.
Its strange isn't it - what different people perceive as frequently visited areas - for me, I see this acurrent area of south-west London and trentbartonland as the 2 regular areas, but not so much Thameslink or Oxford!I really don't understand where this knowledge that Oxford is a frequented area comes from. We exit the station and head for the Railway Station Stop B bus stop just outside. There we board the 0834 London United for TfL service H22, which we take to Isleworth (War Memorial, stop TJ) where we arrive at 0914 on Friday. We take the seven minute walk to Windsor & Eton Riverside and board the 0751 South Western Railway service 2U16 to Whitton, arriving there at 0821 on Friday morning.
Remember that I was on the first incarnation of this quiz (where @Zoe was the pedant to end all pedants) then on this re-launched version of the quiz and my memory will go back as far as those early days and it was over the whole period (not the recent period) where an Oxford arrival saw my heart sink. Its strange isn't it - what different people perceive as frequently visited areas - for me, I see this acurrent area of south-west London and trentbartonland as the 2 regular areas, but not so much Thameslink or Oxford!
