The railway station being too far a walk, and all other bus routes having ceased for the night, our only option remaining is to board another First South & West Wales service 111, at 1945, from which we will alight at Gorseinon Bus Station at 2009 on Saturday.

Other than return to Ammanford, Llanelli or Gorseinon, our only real option is to head back into central Swansea. So, we take the 8 mins (0.4 mile) walk to Ystrad Rd stop on Carmarthen Rd where we await the 1103 service 111 to Swansea High St Station. We arrive at 1113 on Sunday.

Well that intriguing stop name has now cost us an overnight visit, so in the morning we return for the 0725 Faresaver service 68 to Trowbridge (Community Hospital), arriving there at 0808 on Monday morning.

* Apologies for this move as it does involve a trip to the capital again, but this is quite a rare working that I didn't realise existed, but from Hammersmith there are plenty of connections to onward travel out of the capital.

Disappointed to be back on Thameslink territory but accepting it was self-inflicted by my move from Warminster to Hammersmith, we next take the five minute walk to Peterborough station and board the 2052 London North Eastern Railway service 1D31 to Leeds, arriving there at 2219 on Monday evening.
