We walk the 8 mins (0.4 mile) to the Debenhams stop F on the Strand to catch Stagecoach South West service 22. We let the 1100 and 1120 short workings to St Marychurch only pass, and board the 1140 journey towards Dawlish Warren, which we take as far as Dawlish (Brookdale Terrace, stop B) where we arrive at 1236 on Saturday.

We make the 9 minute 0.5 mile walk to St James Park station and wait for the 2223 Great Western Railway service to Lympstone Commando arriving there at 2241 on Saturday.

Well that's an interesting location to just dawdle and wait on the platform for no apparent reason. Let's hope we don't get arrested!
We leave here asap, the only public way out being by rail, so we depart at 2259 on 2E39, GWR's service which we take all the way to Exeter St David's, arriving at 2325 on Saturday.
Note a 6 minute connection time applies at EXE.

We exit the station and board the 2340 Stagecoach South West service H2 to Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital, arriving there at 2358 on Saturday evening.

Think that might be it for the foreseeable, so we board the 0823 Stagecoach South West service B to Stone Lane Retail Park, arriving there at 0830 on Sunday morning.

The only service in the area on a Sunday is the B, so we have two choices - in or out.
'Out' takes us to Exminster, with only the 2 to send us back to Dawlish, Teignmouth or Newton Abbot.
'In' takes us back into town, with the various options available, so we therefore await the 0930 Stagecoach South West service B, which we take to Exeter (High St, stop 3) [which is within walking distance of both Central station and the bus station ] at 0942 on Sunday.

We'll take the 5 minute 0.3 mile walk to Exeter Central station and board the 1016 Great Western Railway service to Umberleigh arriving at 1117 on Sunday morning.

Lovely though it is, Umberleigh station has no bus service, so our only option is to stay with the train.
We therefore await the 1217 GWR service to Barnstaple where we arrive at 1228 on Sunday.

We continue on the 1236 Great Western Railway service to Newton St Cyres arriving at 1332 on Sunday.

There are no bus stops within the statutory 0.5 mile of this station, and the next north/west bound train is hours away. Therefore we stay on the station and await the 1354 GWR service back to Exeter St David's where we arrive at 1404 on Sunday.
