Anyways, that is actually irrelevant to the next move as we walk the 10 min, 0.5 mile, to the Coral Beach Leisure stop where we await the 2010 Stagecoach East Midlands InterConnect service 59, from which we alight at Skegness Seal Sanctuary at 2025 on Wednesday.

Rather than await another journey on the 50, we assume that we pre-planned this part of the day and were therefore able to pre-book a journey on the 59M Mablethorpe LincsBus CallConnect, which serves the Maltby le Marsh demand responsive area at around 1835. We alight at the terminus of Chapel St Leonards Bus Station at 1905 on Wednesday.

We take the 1935 Stagecoach East Midlands service 1 to Ingoldmells, Fantasy Island arriving at 1945 on Wednesday.

Well in fairness we had just come from Skegness as opposed to CSL, hence my comment about not wishing to return to the same place.

I don't think there's 'rules' on it per se, but personally I just think it's a little unimaginative to return to the same places all the time. The world is our oyster! I do regularly feel this is the case with Trent Barton/Nottingham City Transport territory and Thameslink. London is an area we do frequent to but there are BILLIONS of different connections and also in Scotland with Lochgilphead.

However, in spite of that, I think it all depends on the routes that are available and where they serve. For instance, the 1 only goes from Chapel St Leonards to Skegness via Ingoldmells, so at some point we'd have to return to Skegness to continue further on with our travels. I can't comment on your example from yesterday as I don't recall a discussion of walking just under a mile for a connecting service however I do re-call the Radcliffe-on-Trent/West Bridgford scenario in Nottingham where we returned back to West Bridgford. Nottingham is a fairly large city with a vast array of different transport modes and one of only a few cities in the country to include light rail in that sector, so I did think it was a little pointless to return back to West Bridgford.

I think with a reasonable explanation it is permitted. However I don't wish to clog up this thread so I'm more than happy to start a private message with some of you to share some ideas/thoughts on the above

I'm really confused now. Genuinely not being critical, but trying to understand the rules!
I don't get why I need to strike through #30631 - the error in #30630 didn't actually impact it, as the connection time after 30630 worked either way. So should we not have just carried on from 30631 in Skegness?

The bus company timetable, for example, shows it as St Ann's (because that's where it is!)
