If we are being that pedantic I will change it to Radcliffe on Trent where there will be even fewer onwards connections which I expected to be the usual whinge.

We take the 4 minute, 0.2 mile walk to the Market Place where we aren't spoilt for choice at this time of the evening, so it's left to the 2120 Trent Barton Rushcliffe Mainline service to Radcliffe on Trent, Golf Road arriving at 2128 on Monday.

Now we are back at Nottingham Station again, we can take the 2303 Nottingham City Transport service 1 to Gotham, Wallace Street arriving at 2324 on Monday.

Oddly, Gotham is where i was looking at going last night from Hartness Rd, but I never finished my research!

We kip down for the night and await the next southbound journey that proceeds beyond Gotham, the 0556 NCT service 1, which we take to its terminus at East Leake (Kirk Ley Rd) at 0609 on Tuesday.

Next we take the 0713 Nottingham City Transport service 1 to Stanford on Soar, Church arriving at 0718 on Tuesday morning.

Still with just the 1* we continue forward to Loughborough on the 0752 Nottingham CIty Transport service navy line 1, and alight at Loughborough Railway Station stand A at 0754 on Tuesday.

*Unless you count the Soar Valley Community Bus 03 and 04 which only appear to set down here in both directions!

Not much in the way of onward connections here, with no buses, so we return on the 2213 East Midlands Railway service 2F98 to Grimsby Docks, arriving there at 2251 where hopefully we'll still be able to catch some onward transport.

We walk the 0.5 mile (10 mins) to Lower Spring St and there board Stagecoach East Midlands service 10 at 2307, alighting at Scartho (Youth Centre) at 2326 on Tuesday.

That appears to be it for the rest of the day, so in the morning we return for the 0619 Stagecoach East Midlands service 10 to Cleethorpes (Pier), arriving there at 0657 on Wednesday morning.

The 4 appears to be only bus serving this neck of the woods, so we return on the 0817 Stagecoach East Midlands service 4 to Grimsby (Riverhead Exchange), arriving there at 0834 on Wednesday morning.

We make the 11 minute half mile walk to the Market Place and catch the 1000 TC Minicoaches service 26 to Cotes Grange, Letter Box arriving at 1020 on Wednesday morning

Hmm, a difficult one. There's only two services a day in each direction, a 1309 back to Market Rasen or a later service onto Louth. On the sole basis we don't wish to return back to Market Rasen, we somehow try and find some lunch or go for a walk and come back for the 1614 Grayscroft Coaches service E66S to Louth (Bus Station), arriving there at 1627 on Wednesday afternoon.

With very limited options in the suburbs of Louth we walk the 0.4 miles (8 mins) to the Park Ave stop and there await the 1727 PC Coaches Louth Nipper service 40. We alight back at Louth (Wyvale Garden Centre) at 1734 on Wednesday.

We take the 1745 TC Minicoaches service 50 to Maltby le Marsh, Post Office arriving at 1808 on Wednesday.

Rather than await another journey on the 50, we assume that we pre-planned this part of the day and were therefore able to pre-book a journey on the 59M Mablethorpe LincsBus CallConnect, which serves the Maltby le Marsh demand responsive area at around 1835. We alight at the terminus of Chapel St Leonards Bus Station at 1905 on Wednesday.
