Trying to avoid the usual return to trentbarton, we saunter just outside the bus station and wait at Victoria Centre (York House) stop T5. There we 1629. We board Nottingham City Transport service 87 at 1629, and alight at Arnold, Front St at 1656 on Monday.

A useful out of town route is the Nottingham City Transport service 53, and we catch the 1715 departure to Clifton, Hartness Road arriving at 1809 on Monday.

So....we're in a bit of a difficult position here. Basically, the terminus of the 53 is right at the bottom end of Hartness Road, yet there are no more departures on the 53 or 54. However we are too far away (12 minutes/0.6 miles) to walk to Fleming Gardens to get the much more frequent 48, as you have to essentially by-pass Remembrance Way. Therefore, we either have to follow the rules and remain here until the morning or we can take the just over half a mile walk and get the 48.
