We exit the station and take the two minute walk to the bus stop on the intersection of Doncaster Road and Brecks Lane, where we board the 1904 First South Yorkshire service 84b to Doncaster (Frenchgate Interchange), arriving there at 1924 on Friday evening.

Moving away from the Nottingham area where we visiting frequently, we next board the 1158 Trent Barton service 21 to Ilkeston (Market Place), arriving there at 1227 on Saturday afternoon.

Ilkeston is a nice little town to get lunch on route to the station and get the 1303 Saturday EMT train to Norwich which arrives at 1608.

Unfortunately the walk to the station, at 0.9 mile, is too far.

So instead we take the 1301 Trent Barton service 27 to Swingate, Clive Crescent arriving at 1327 on Saturday.

The 27 seems to be the only bus that serves here, so we take the nine minute half a mile walk to Kimberley library and board the 1337 Trent Barton Rainbow One service to Alfreton (Bus Station), arriving there at 1425 on Saturday afternoon.

Seems to be a "thing" here where everything leaves just after 4pm. Rather than continuing back towards Nottingham we will wait for the 1605 Littles service 140 to Crich, Tramway Museum arriving at 1634 on Saturday.
