We walk the 400 yards via a handy public footpath to Ramsey Drive and are just in time for the 17:13 Stagecoach Cumbria service 1 to Whitehaven (Wilko) where we arrive at 17:32 on Tuesday evening.

Well I did try and get us off the Cumbrian Coast Line because services die down after a while, however other ideas have ensued we are now stuck at Drigg for the night as there are no more buses and trains, so in the morning we return for the 0649 Northern service 2C35 to Workington, arriving there at 0740 on Wednesday morning.

Walking for 6 minutes (0.3 miles) we arrive at Wigan North Western station, from where we then depart at 2301 on 1N86, Northern's service towards Blackpool North, from which we alight at Euxton Balshaw Lane at 2310 on Wednesday.

Well the last bus from outside the station (the 109 between Preston and Chorley) is at 23:14, so just short by a minute, so we'll wait an hour for the 0015 Northern service 1N87 to Preston, arriving there at 0027 in the early hours of Thursday morning.
