I can't imagine there are many people who use the pedestrian crossings across any motorway junction roundabout, but we have to as we walk the 10 minutes (0.5 miles) to the Old Heath House stop on the opposite side of the motorway and get the 0640 National Express West Midlands service 54 to Stafford (Railway Station), arriving at 0709 Wednesday morning.

I think from here I can re-instate my previous move, as we board the 1133* High Peak Skyline service 199 to Stepping Hill (The Crown), arriving there at 1203** on Thursday afternoon.


* The White Horse appears to be in Whaley Bridge, and is two stops before Whaley Bridge station. The temporary timetable doesn't show every stop, but gives a departure time from Whaley Bridge as 1135.

** The temporary timetable shows the Stepping Hill stop as Dialstone Lane. This is the same stop at The Crown. The turning into Dialstone Lane is just after The Crown stop.

I realise that these are unprecedented circumstances and bus companies all across the country have had to implement some last minute changes but I wish there was a bit of accuracy in the timetables and that other sources remove the usual ones! The struggles we've had on this game are unreal
