A little stuck for inspiration, so we have a wander before catching the 0739 Stagecoach Northamptonshire service 55 to Swan Valley, Sepals Way arriving at 0745 on Sunday morning.

In my defence, I was blissfully unaware that only the 55 runs on a Sunday, bearing in mind there is also the 15 and the 18. Am I better off continuing my previous post back to Northampton station, so that there are more options available? Because we're going to have a 7 hour wait now. I just didn't want to do the immediate double back to where we'd just come from.

It appears I've also been caught out by the D1/D2 from Rugby only going to Daventry on Monday - Saturday...let's just go to the bus station.

Probably better that we took some time off anyway - how many services run that early on a Sunday?

EDIT: Should probably mention Stagecoach call the bus station The Drapery but you might see it in some other sources as Bus Interchange.

We then get the 1215 Arriva in the Midlands service 5 to Melton Mowbray (Cattle Market), arriving at 1320 Sunday afternoon.

Well, Centrebus is out of the question and Arriva only does the 5, 5A and X5 so...

We walk the 11 minutes (0.5 miles) to the rail station to board the 14:34 CrossCountry service 1L42 to Peterborough, arriving for 15:19 on Sunday afternoon.

This isn't currently running. On Sundays service 5 is operating only between Leicester City Centre and East Goscote on all journeys.

We take the 8 minute walk to Braunstone Avenue and board the 1831* Arriva Midlands service 51 to Westcotes (Ruding Road), arriving there at 1843 on Sunday evening.

Sunday evenings in the current times dont give a wealth of options, so we wait for the 1907 Arriva Midlands service 50 (probably the bus we just alighted) to Enderby, Cooperation Street arriving there at 1930 on Sunday.
