We next board the 1856 First York service 1 to Acomb (The Regent), arriving there at 1937 on Saturday evening.
*Note - I confess that this service doesn't seem to start running until 5th April, but in current circumstances a little flexibility might be allowed! I really enjoyed the trip via Staindrop and Barnard Castle.
also how did you enjoy the journey via those two settlements if the service doesn't start until 5th April? Fine by me I'm all for bizarre and interseting bus journeys!!
From Kirkby Stephen, we now have no choice other than to enter the station, where we board the 12:51 Northern service 1Y18 to Appleby, arriving at 13:03 Sunday afternoon.
Life got in the way a bit but seeing as I'm stuck at home now time for some more fun bus journeysI wondered where you had gone!
Nope...seems fairly reasonable to keep things moving (if a tad unrealistic on Northern!!)Would anybody object if we had a 4 minute wait here? For the 1307 Northern service 2H65 to Shipley, arriving there at 1449? It is Sunday and we're not exactly at London Waterloo or Manchester Piccadilly now are we![]()
Assuming that we're in Newton-le-Willows still
Sorry it was the 360.Not too sure what service number had just been used, so we next board the 0648 Arriva North West service 34 to Lane Head (Newton Road) that arrives there at 0656 on Monday morning.
We take the 4 minute 0.2 mile walk to St Helen's Central and catch the 0804 Northern service to Liverpool Lime Street arriving at 0831 on Monday morning.Assuming that we're in Newton-le-Willows still, we then board the 0703 Arriva North West service 34 to St Helen's (Bus Station), arriving there at 0740 on Monday morning.
Lane Head is an administered part of Lowton.
