Was hoping for a journey on the 8/8A to the Beamish Museum, but surprisingly it doesn't run on a Sunday! Missing out a great trade there!

Instead, we next board the 0824 Go North East Connections service 4 to Heworth (Interchange), arriving there at 0849 on Sunday morning.

We wait for the 09:20 JH Coaches service B66* to Kirkby Stephen (Easgill Head - near Rail Station) where we arrive at 11:38 on Sunday morning.

*Note - I confess that this service doesn't seem to start running until 5th April, but in current circumstances a little flexibility might be allowed! I really enjoyed the trip via Staindrop and Barnard Castle.

I was under the impression that we are ignoring the virus and carrying on as its fictional? But, I'm not gonna hold us up! :) also how did you enjoy the journey via those two settlements if the service doesn't start until 5th April?

I wondered where you had gone!

Would anybody object if we had a 4 minute wait here? For the 1307 Northern service 2H65 to Shipley, arriving there at 1449? It is Sunday and we're not exactly at London Waterloo or Manchester Piccadilly now are we

Nope...seems fairly reasonable to keep things moving (if a tad unrealistic on Northern!!)

At Shipley we now await the 15:45 Northern service 2H60 to Morcambe, arriving at 17:34 Sunday afternoon.
