We then board the 1414 Stagecoach Cambridge Citi service 7 to Saffron Walden (High Street), arriving there at 1511 on Thursday afternoon.

We take the seven minute walk to Lower School Gate and there board the 1519 Stephensons of Essex service 446 to Manuden (The Street) that arrives there at 1641 on Thursday afternoon.

We appear to be stuck until the morning, so will then take the 0746 Stephensons of Essex service 306 to Bishop's Stortford, Interchange arriving there at 0816 on Friday morning.

We walk 2 minutes to the railway station and board the 08:51 Greater Anglia service 1B28 to Stansted Airport, where we arrive at 09:01.

We then take the 0921 Cross Country service to Melton Mowbray arriving there at 1129 on Friday morning

We find time to buy a local pork pie at the station café and then walk to the bus stop in the forecourt to catch the 11:45 Centrebus North service 19 to Nottingham Crown Court (Stop C12) where we arrive at 12:31 on Friday afternoon

We take the 4 minute 0.2 mile walk to the Railway Station and board the 1326 East Midlands Railway service to Langwith-Whaley Thorns arriving there at 1412 on Friday.

We walk 150 yards to the bus stop and board the 14:24 Stagecoach Grimsby-Cleethorpes service 23 to Radmanthwaite (adj Woburn Road) where we alight at 14:57 on Friday afternoon.

We then board the 1511 Trent Barton Pronto service to Sherwood (Shops), arriving there at 1606 on Friday afternoon.

We next board the 16:26 Stagecoach Grimsby-Cleethorpes Sherwood Arrow which takes us to Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre where we alight at 17:26 on Friday evening.

We appear to be stuck here for the night now, so we check into a hotel in the forest and return for the 0848 Stagecoach Grimsby-Cleethorpes Sherwood Arrow service to Nottingham (Huntingdon Street), arriving there at 0945 on Saturday morning.

We just have time to walk the 200 yards to the Sherwood Street stop to catch the 12:45 Stagecoach Grimsby and Cleethorpes service 1 to Tibshelf White Hart, where we arrive at 13:40 on Saturday afternoon.

We then board the 1421 Stagecoach Grimsby-Cleethorpes Mansfield Miller service 1 to Sutton-in-Ashfield (Kings Mill Hospital), arriving there at 1455 on Saturday afternoon.

We walk round the corner to Stop SA and board the 23:53 Metroline service 92 which takes us to Greenford Station where we arrive at 00:12 on Sunday morning

We wait on the platform for the 01:08 Chiltern Railways service to Little Kimble, where we arrive at 01:16 on Sunday morning.

That appears to be it for the night now, so we return in the morning for the 0738 Chiltern Railways service 2H03 to West Ruislip, arriving there at 0821 on Sunday morning.

We board the next eastbound Central Line train, departing at 08:32, which takes us all the way to Epping where we arrive at 09:57.

Noting this is now Sunday morning, there is not enough connection time to catch the bus to St Margarets Hospital, so using the standard connection time as a benchmark, we next board the 1008 Central Line service to North Acton that arrives there at 1117 on Sunday morning.

That is one loop and a half, West Ruislip to Epping and back to North Acton! good bit of mileage on there!

We then exit the station and board the 1133 London United service 440 to Turnham Green (Church), arriving there at 1205 on Sunday afternoon.
