OBSERVATION ON A RECENTLY DISCUSSED MATTER

Not so very long ago, the matter of the use of the overnight travel relaxation rule was raised when the thread was in the London area and comment was made that seemed to imply that as London operates a 24-hour service, that overnight travel relaxation rule should not be allowed in the London area.

I had the feeling that the matter would have been put before the forum quizmaster team at that time in order that the quiz rules (which were originally drawn up by the forum quizmasters) would be amended to allow for the special London new scenario, but a cursory glance at the rules of this thread this morning showed no such London amendment made, which appears to say that the forum quizmasters did not wish to make such an amendment to the rules and that the status quo still applied.
